Art from the Heart 2008

Looking for something wonderful to do on what might be just a dull gray day in February? Come to Art From the Heart.

Brecksville Center for the Arts brings you a wonderful winter party on Sunday, February 10th from 4 -7 pm. The Western Reserve Bank, 8751 Brecksville Road, will host this special event to benefit programs at the Brecksville Center for the Arts. Mike Gorman, president of Western Reserve Bank and his wife Paula, who has been active with the Center, have graciously opened this beautiful facility to host the event.

The trustees of BCA think of Art From the Heart as a prelude to Valentine's Day. This is a chance to celebrate the arts and the special people in our lives through an intimate and unique party.

Sandra Dennison is the Featured Artist. Guests can meet Sandra in the parlor of the bank and learn more about her as an accomplished artist who works with many types of media and is a life-long member of the Whiskey Painters of America. Enjoy browsing the conference rooms of the bank filled with art and be tempted by the “must have” silent auction items that will be on display including a night at the Chateau at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, a golf package at the Shaker Country Club and a Blossom Package.

Leslie McCafferty, a board member and well-known artist will also display her works along with other local and regional artists. A portion of the works sold that day will benefit Brecksville Center for the Arts.

Also available for sale will be our historic Brecksville Afghans - great Valentine's Day gifts to help keep warm this winter.

Highlighting the afternoon will be a sumptuous supper buffet, including desserts, and a wine tasting. Music will be provided by Sue Sallings as she plays the dulcimer.

Tickets are $35 and can be purchased from BCA trustees or by calling 440-526-6232.
